Elena Ventura was born and raised in Washington, D.C. She is a mother and educator passionate about ABAR work, incorporating Montessori for neurodivergent children and making Montessori education accessible to all children, especially low-income children and their families. She has 10+ years of experience in Montessori education as an assistant in the private and public sectors. She motivates and supports assistants in obtaining Montessori Certification, aiming to ensure that the children they interact with in the city have more guides who share similar backgrounds. She completed her Montessori training in the summer of 2023 at the Montessori Training Center Northeast Cleveland, Ohio, satellite location. She is credentialed as a Primary Montessori Guide through the Association Montessori Internationale. She is currently in a small private Montessori school in Capital Hill.
