Summer 2025 Implementing Strong Elementary Workshop

Montessori Early Intervention (MEI) Training

11:00am - 5:00pm ETIn this one day training, participants will learn the key components and implementation procedures of the Montessori Early Intervention (MEI) process, an essential part of the System of Justness approach in creating equitable, joyous Montessori classrooms. After this training, adults will emerge prepared to provide effective support and scaffolding so all children can thrive in the Montessori setting. Participants will be provided with resources and tools necessary to embed the MEI process into their school communities, in a method that fosters Whole School collaboration to support young humans flourishing.

Montessori Orientation Course

Geared toward all members of the community, this new asynchronous course is a useful tool for the classroom, operations, custodial staff, volunteers, and others. Everyone in a Montessori school plays an important role in the success of the school. Working as a team is invaluable to the entire learning community.
Participants will receive an introduction to Montessori and learn the basic Montessori concepts and terms. The video also includes the planes of development and key elements of Montessori environments, and prepares adults, new and seasoned, for working in Montessori schools.

Montessori Assistant Course

This course was designed to fit within the school schedule. Intentionally short, it allows schools to orient assistants to their role efficiently and effectively. Fiercely pragmatic, this course provides both a framework of the Montessori approach and guidance on the practical aspects of the role. As partipants progress through the course, they will be given valuable resources and tools that can be used immediately in their work in the classroom.
