Our conversation with Hadar Peled explores public Montessori in Israel. She shares a vision of Montessori education as a vehicle for peace in a place that has endured conflict for generations.

Hadar Peled is the co CEO and Founder of Milla: Montessori Israel Leadership Association. She is the proud mother of three children, whom have opened her eyes, heart and ears to the Montessori World. During the past 5 years, Peled led Derech Hayeled, the lead Montessori school in Israel. As Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of Derech Hayeled (NPO), Peled led a fund raising campaign and raised one million dollars (USD) which successfully enabled the opening of a new school building. She also co-designed and planned the first Montessori Junior High School in Israel. Peled serves as a pedagogical advisor to public Montessori schools in Israel.
