Montessori Orientation Course - for the whole school

$750.00

The Montessori Orientation Course is geared toward all members of the community, making it a useful tool for operations staff, custodial staff, volunteers, and others.

Everyone in a Montessori school plays an important role in the success of the school. Non-classroom staff and volunteers also support the academic, social, and emotional needs of diverse groups of children - both directly and indirectly. Working as a team is invaluable to the entire learning community.

This self paced course includes an introduction to Montessori, and covers basic Montessori concepts and terms. It also reviews the planes of development and key elements of Montessori environments, and prepares adults, new and seasoned, for working in their Montessori communities.

School Registration: For the whole school registration option, schools receive access to this course for a full year for their entire staff.

During the registration process, you will be asked to provide participant names (first and last) and their emails you would like registered for the course. Please allow 3 business days for our team to enroll your staff. To access the course, a link to the online platform (Thinkific) will be emailed to each participant.

Progress monitoring: as the participants progress through the course, they are provided opportunities for written reflection to review the concepts covered, and a copy of their response will be emailed to each participant. If you would like to review their reflections or require them for professional development monitoring purposes, you may ask participants to forward you those emails.

Payment: payment for the school registration option can be done on this website by credit card or invoicing. Please contact tchan@montessori-action.org for the latter option.
