This session is designed to ignite the Montessori educator to fully implement the Montessori method through observation, data collection and planning. Beginning with engagement, we explore the observable elements of the truly engaged and ways to re-engage those who are not yet there. With the shared foundation of engagement, the conversation moves to the four quadrants of rigor as laid out by Frey and Fisher and their role in Montessori classrooms.
Participants will leave with clarity around engagement and rigor as well as the relationship between them. They will have strategies to use in their school environments and tools to support their immediate implementation of the ideas shared.
