“One thing still evades the intelligence of humanity and that is the consciousness of their terrestrial destiny and of the fact that the whole of humanity is so intimately united that it forms but one organized energy.”

Maria Montessori, 1949, India

Professional Development

Growth and development are an expected element of working in a Montessori school. We learn so much every day from the children and the work we do together. It’s also important to take time as a community to learn and implement new skills and tools to support the strongest Montessori implementation. These professional development sessions are designed to support your school in making a shift in that direction.

The Nautilus Approach

Each unique learner is amazing and the school’s task is to commit to tapping their unmanifest potential through a strong Montessori program held by a System of Justness. Within that system is the way your school responds to children other than adopting the district’s discipline policy. We offer you the Nautilus Approach. Created by Montessori practitioners from five schools is a Montessori way to approach difficulties as they arise to support everyone.

This is a year-long professional development experience.

Elementary Systems

Elementary classrooms are a complex world that run on the invisible systems and structures put in place by the adults. This professional development session works with teachers and coaches sharing strong elementary systems to implement across lower and upper elementary. They are based on the balance of freedom and responsibility essential to a Montessori prepared environment.

This is a one day professional development experience.
