This two day workshop was developed for all elementary guides with a focus on those working in the public sector. During these two sessions, a variety of systems and tools to support the full collaboration with students will be shared with participants. Created to support both new and seasoned teachers, this workshop will aid the elementary guide in establishing community cooperation that creates a foundation for experiencing the integrated curriculum Dr. Montessori envisioned.
Participants of this 12 hour training have the opportunity to earn 1.2 Continuing Education Credits (CEUs) through Loyola University’s Aspire Program.
What people are saying about this workshop:
“As an elementary assistant relatively new to Montessori, the Implementing Strong Elementary Montessori workshop allowed me to gain a much stronger grasp on the essential elements of cultivating engagement in the classroom. It was incredibly helpful to see how the Montessori curriculum, intrinsic motivation, and accountability interact and Elizabeth Slade shared so many practical ideas, systems, and tools to help implement these effectively in our classrooms. Above all, I really appreciated Elizabeth Slade’s positive energy, inclusivity, and wisdom. This was a valuable learning experience and I recommend it to anyone working in the elementary classroom.” - Michaela, 2022 Summer Participant
