Season 1 Ep. 2: School Reopening

In this conversation with two school leaders, we hear about two different plans for fall school reopening following the spring school closures.

Hannah Richardson is a Primary AMI trained near 20 year veteran of Montessori. She has worked with both public and private Montessori programs all over the country, in the capacities of teacher, coordinator, consultant, advisor and community supporter. Hannah currently serves as the Director of Curriculum & Instruction at Breakthrough Montessori in DC. She is the mother of 2 children, 4.5 and 1 month old at the time of this release.

Katherine Rucker is a native of Southern Pines and is driven by a passion to expand public access to Montessori education in her home community. A graduate of Wake Forest University with a Bachelor’s degree in political science, she has also earned her Master of Economics from Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education in Mexico City and Master of Education from Loyola University Maryland. Ms. Rucker completed Montessori training at the Washington Montessori Institute and is credentialed as a Primary Montessori guide through Association Montessori Internationale (AMI). She is the founder and Head of School at Moore Montessori Community School.
